This clock is mounted onto a piece of a wood plank along with a nail and a piece of copper from the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) . to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the launching of the ship. Production was limited to 200 pieces.
CONDITION: This commemorate plaque is in very nice condition. The Chelsea brass case some deterioration of the lacquer finish. Original silvered dial is very nice. Original hands.

DESCRIPTION: French, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven brass movement black marble garniture set that has two winding keys on the dial that read: "United States Patented 1879". The clock is wound by pulling out each individual winding key on the dial and returning it to the original position when the wind is completed.
CONDITION: The black mable case in very nice condition with highly decorative gilt designs on the front and case pillars has one tiny chip on the back corner of the angled top. The black marble dial with gilt numbers is very nice also. Original hands. The corresponding black marble urns are in nice condition with one urn having a small chip on the angle section of the base. It is very usual to have a French clock with a U.S. patent.

Borden Co. of New York. It was fitted with a small cylinder music box that was operated by the strike. The label reads: "The New Automatic American Music Box and Musical Clock Combined.". A very unusual clock.

CONDITION: The case is in excellent condition and still retains a fair amount of gilt surface. The signed porcelain dial is in excellent condition. The hands are original. The cut glass columns are in very good condition with two very minor chips to the right hand front column. The movement carries the name of the designer, R. Kaiser, as well as the serial number of 49456. Overall, an exceptional example of this high end Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator.

CONDITION: The case is in very good condition with no chips or cracks in the beveled glass panels. The signed movement carries a serial number of 50309 and the name of R. Kaiser, the movement designer for Seth Thomas. This is likely the 15 day movement. The signed porcelain dial is in good condition with several small chips at the strike winding arbor. The hands are original. The pendulum is an actual mercury pendulum, a replacement from a French clock, but works fine with this movement.

DESCRIPTION: Spaulding & Co., Chicago & Paris, an ornate18th century style, bronze mounted, miniature tall clock with tortoise shell veneers, the case with rectangular b ase on cast feet, and framed cast panel, below a bold, molded surbase, the mid section of bombe form with bevelled glass panel and foliate mounts, the top resting on another heavy cast molding and with mounts flanking the roman numeral white enamel dial, signed, 8 day two train pendule de Paris movement, with Medusa pendulum and striking on a gong
CONDITION: mounts very dirty and tarnished, transitional moldings dirty, but retain their brightness, veneers with splits, blisters and lifting, original bevelled trunk glass now held in place with hot glue, dial with filled loss in enamel at 12:00, minute hand an incorrect replacement, movement dirty, ticks and strikes, needs service, suspension broken, pendulum with replaced rod, bob with polish residue

DESCRIPTION: Spencer, Wooster & Co., Salem Bridge, Conn., 8 day, weight driven brass movement column & cornice shelf clock.
CONDITION: Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish has a veneer repair on the bottom panel and some repairs and loss on the base. The mirror is period and possibly original, but the putty in the door is not. Original painted dial is in good condition has some minor staining. Original hands. Dark but readable label inside.

DESCRIPTION: Warren Telechron Co., Ashland, Mass., "Master Clock Type B", oak case with turned bezel above a glazed door and molded base, silvered dial with provision for monitoring power generation, the movement with dead beat escapement, electric remontoire, and cylindrical pendulum bob, the rod with tray for fine regulation weights, with four weights, tweezers, and keys
CONDITION: dirty, case in a darkened original finish, with minor dents and dings, lower left corner of door with paint residue, power company ID on upper rail of door, right side of case with three small holes, dial with minor tarnish and staining, power monitoring hand replaced, round nut that retains the hand replaced, movement dirty, ticking, would benefit from service, condition of motor unknown, pendulum bob with spotting, rod with minor rust, tray with tarnish, regulation weights tarnished, and tweezers with oxide. According to the consignor, this clock was originally installed in a power generation plant in Dubuque, Iowa, and was removed from service in 1934.

CONDITION: Nicely refinished rosewood and rosewood veneered case in nice condition has a small blister in the veneer on the curved top. Original painted dial has some loss at the winding arbors and in the center. Original hands, tablet and pendulum. Nearly complete label on the back.
