DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Orchid No. 6" Crystal Regulator with a spring driven 15 day time and strike round movement in an oval case of polished brass and oval, beveled front and back doors and side panels.
CONDITION:
The case is in very good condition with no chips or cracks in the beveled glass panels. The signed movement carries a serial number of 50309 and the name of R. Kaiser, the movement designer for Seth Thomas. This is likely the 15 day movement. The signed porcelain dial is in good condition with several small chips at the strike winding arbor. The hands are original. The pendulum is an actual mercury pendulum, a replacement from a French clock, but works fine with this movement.
