DESCRIPTION:
Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, MO, "Fashion No. 4" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike Seth Thomas movement and a R. T. Andrews patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case.
CONDITION:
The case is in excellent condition with original finish. The time dial in excellent condition, has age and may have had some restoration. The calendar dial has been repainted on the original pan. The time hands and the calendar hand all appear original. The movement is signed. The door glass and gilt "Fashion" signature are original and in very nice condition. The calendar drum papers are original and darkened with age. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damaskeened.
