CONDITION: The case is in excellent condition with original finish. The dial has been repainted. The hands are original. The pendulum bob may be replaced. The large lyre movement is signed. The stenciled door glass is original. The case back shows a factory date of September, 1885.

seth thomas Clock Co., thomaston, Conn., "utica" model city series mantel clock with spring driven, 8 days, time, strike and alarm movement in a walnut case, c1887.
CONDITION: The walnut case is in excellent condition. The painted dial is original but has loss above the time side winding hole. The hands appear to be later replacements. The large lyre movement is signed and strikes on a cathedral gong. The, spring driven, alarm movement strikes on a bell mounted under the cathedral gong. The stenciled glass is original. The pendulum bob is damaskeened nickel. The case backside shows a date of December, 1887. Ht 22".

CONDITION: the Kroeber finish and dial are worn but the heavy cast case is complete and has a bottom label. The seth thomas, movement dated 1945, has an excellent original case, with a nautical theme, and slightly worn dial, and retains its back door and bottom labels. Hts 9.5"
