DESCRIPTION: Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., 10" marine wall clock with a brass 8 day, time and ship's bell strike, spring-driven balance wheel movement in a heavy highly polished brass case with an 8.5 inch silvered dial with Arabic numerals and a movement serial number of 851942 on the case back.
CONDITION: The case is bright, with some fine scratches. The signed silvered dial and hands are excellent. The movement ticks and strikes.

CONDITION: Brass case has darkened and spotted with age due to loss of lacquer. Dial has several scratches, especially around the winding arbors. Original hands. Movement is ticking and striking, but strike will need adjusting.

CONDITION: Brass case has tarnished significantly with age, top-most area is dotted with small white paint spots. Silvered brass dial and hands are in very good condition with very light markings. Movement is running and striking.

CONDITION: Brass case has darkened due to loss of lacquer and needs polishing, movement is currently ticking and striking. Stand is modern and homemade. Silvered dial is in good condition, black paint has faded within the engraved numbers and markers.

DESCRIPTION: Eastman Clock Company ship's clock, 8 day time only lever movement with nicely damascened front plate. Brass case with modern mahogany stand. Eastman Clock Company was founded by Joseph H. Eastman, born in 1843 and died in 1931. The company was in business from 1895-1896 until it became the Fair Haven Manufacturing Company in 1896. 8.25" Copper dial is engraved "Ashcroft Mfg Co. New York & Bridgeport" with "998" at the bottom of the dial.
CONDITION: Small loss and wear to insized numbers. Dial was most likely originally silvered, all of which is now gone. Brass case has darkened and tarnished with age. Mahogany case is modern and in good condition. Movement is ticking and currently running.

CONDITION: Heavy bronze case in good condition for its age with some decay of the lacquer finish and some wear on the bezel edge. Mahogany base in original finish has some roughness on the bottom edge. Original special silvered dial has some scratches, some wear to the chapter ring and heavier damage down to the copper base at 5 o'clock. Original hands. Movement is ticking and striking.

CONDITION: Polished heavy cast brass case in nice condition has a ding on the front bezel and a bent area on the back flange at about 10:30. Original silvered dial has age darkened most likely from the yellowing of the lacquer coating and a small abraded spot near 2 o'clock. Original hands. Mahogany base has an old finish. Movement is ticking and striking.
