DESCRIPTION: Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Ansonia Banjo No. 3", 8 day, time, strike and Westminster chime brass spring driven movement banjo wall clock. This is a rare model.
CONDITION: Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in very nice condition in original finish. Original silvered dial has some tarnish and numerous scratches at the winding arbors. Original hands, finial and glass tablets.

CONDITION: the case has been professionally refinished. The original metal dial has several areas of inpaint and the dial mounting strips are replaced. The pendulum and weights are original. Recently professionally cleaned and serviced.

DESCRIPTION: Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Crystal Regulator No. 1" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and half hour rack and snail strike visible escapement movement in a gilded brass and porcelain top and base case and a porcelain dial.
CONDITION: The porcelain case is in excellent with no chips or hairline cracks. Some gold paint has been applied to part of the brass case and should be removed. The signed porcelain dial is in excellent condition with no chips or hairline cracks. The hands are original. The movement is signed, The four beveled glass door panels appear original with no chips or cracks.

DESCRIPTION: Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Utopia" model crystal regulator, footed, gilt base with applied ornaments supporting four faceted and diamond patterned glass columns with gilt capitals and bases, and gilt top echoing the shape and design of the base, with four cast finials and domed top, roman numeral white enamel dial with exposed escapement, 8 day time and strike movement with faux mercury pendulum
CONDITION: case with minor discoloration and staining, inside of base with spots of corrosion, many components with significant losses to gilding exposing the copper layer beneath, glass columns and bevelled glasses good, dial with faint hairline at 4:30, hands with minor oxide, ticks and strikes, pallets incorrectly oriented, will not run until corrected, pendulum with minor verdigris and losses to gilding

DESCRIPTION: Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Excelsior" Crystal Regulator with a spring driven 8 day time and half hour rack and snail strike brass movement (with visible escapement and jeweled pallets) in a case the firm's catalogs claimed "of real bronze, finished in rich gold".
CONDITION: The case is in very good condition although much of the gilt finish has worn away over the years. The right side and rear beveled glass panels have no chips or cracks. The front door panel has a small crack in the upper right corner. The left side panel shows some minor chipping at the top right corner. The signed porcelain dial is in excellent condition with no chips or hairline cracks. The center portion of the porcelain dial is a lighter color, perhaps a replacement. The hands are original. The movement is signed.

CONDITION: Nicely cleaned and restored figural shelf clock with the figures have a copper finish with darker accents. There is some loss to the applied gilding in the incised areas on the base and some small paint chips. Original enameled dial is perfect. Original hands. Movement is signed. The hinge on the dial door is slightly bent and as a result the door does not stay latched. It will need some attention.
