DESCRIPTION: Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Mahogany and Metal", 8 day, time, 12" Dial, spring brass lever movement mantel clock made for the "Ball Watch Co., Cleveland, Ohio", serial #133671.
CONDITION: Cast brass case on a mahogany base in nice condition has a couple scuff marks on the lacquer finished bezel. The mahogany base has a ding on each corner of the curved molding. Original silvered dial has some light wear and scratches. There is some small loss to some of the painted numbers. Original hands. Movement ticks for a short while and stops.

DESCRIPTION: Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., for Tiffany & Co., N.Y., a large bronze "Wardroom" clock with 12 inch dial, the heavy cast case with integral mounting flange, ogee, ovolo, and cavetto moldings, glazed bezel and mahogany back, 12 inch silvered dial with applied arabic numerals, rectangular, 8 day, brass timepiece movement with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance, serial #129365
CONDITION: case tarnished, with polish residue and minor verdigris, minor dings and scratches, bezel an incorrect replacement, dial with minor tarnish and discoloration, hands tarnished, movement dirty and very oily, will run briefly, needs service. According to the book "Chelsea Clock Company the First Hundred Years" by Andrew and David Demeter, there were five 12" dial clocks known at the time of publication, two of which are in the collection of the Chelsea museum. This model is rare in any size, and the 12" dial was the largest offered.

CONDITION: Brass case and dial have been nicely cleaned and restored. Very nice Mahogany stand is modern and in very good overall condition. Movement is ticking and running.

CONDITION: Cast brass case sits on a figured walnut base and sub-base of heavy forged brass with the engraved names of celebrated artists and scientists in nice condition has some spotting to the lacquer finish on the bezel. There is some roughness on one spot on the base. Original silvered dial is fine. Original hands. The back of the base is engraved with the following: "Third Millennium Limited Edition No. 2000". In original box.

CONDITION: Brass case has lost its lacquer and has darkened with age with areas of tarnish. Movement is currently running and striking, but will likely need service. Original hands, silvered dial has some fine scratches and areas of tarnish. Engraved numbers appear refilled in some areas.

DESCRIPTION: Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., 7" "Mahogany and Metal" marine shelf clock with a brass 8 day, time and ship's bell strike, spring-driven balance wheel movement in a heavy, highly polished brass case with a 6 inch silvered dial with Arabic numerals and a movement serial number of 24128 on the movement and mounted on a solid mahogany base.
CONDITION: The brass case is in excellent condition with a soft patina finish. The mahogany base is in very good condition with several small scratches. The signed silver dial is in good condition with some wear and small scratches. The hands appear to be original. This is a very early (1907) version of this model. The clock is not currently ticking.

CONDITION: Chrome case is in good overall condition with some dull areas and tarnish, especially on the handles of the ships wheel. Dial is in good condition with some rusting at the numeral "12". Mahogany stand has some minor scuffs. Movement is not ticking but does strike; will need adjusting.

CONDITION: The case is in original condition with a nice original finish. The original dial has been repainted. The time and hour hands are original. The seconds hand is a replacement. The movement is signed. The door glasses are likely original. Louis Weule Co., San Francisco were dealers in anutical charts, instruments and supplies.

DESCRIPTION: Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Model 2Q" Regulator wall clock with a weight driven 8 day timepiece movement, maintaining power, dead beat escapement and serial #162460 in an oak case with matching number. This clock was made for the Ball Watch Co., Cleveland, Ohio and is one of the earliest 2Q models made in the 1924-1926 period. This one dates from October, 1924.
CONDITION: The case is in exceptionally nice condition with an original finish. The original painted and signed dial is in very good condition with very minor loss at the mounting holes and a scratch to the right of the numeral 3. The hands are original. The door glasses are original. The pendulum bob and rod appear to be original as is the beat indicator. The brass weight has age is appears to be original. This is an excellent example of this rare Model 2Q regulator that Chelsea produced for a short 2 year period.
