DESCRIPTION: Charles Wilder, Peterborough, N.H., a Woodruff's patent stick barometer, rosewood veneered softwood case with ripple molded rectangular base, door, and domed top, with silvered engraved scales for barometer and thermometer, the barometer scale with vernier slide and brass pointer
CONDITION: dome top now with mahogany veneer, base molding reglued, scale with minor discoloration and tarnish, thermometer replaced

DESCRIPTION: Stick barometers- 2 (Two), both marked "Woodruff's Pat. June 5, 1860", and one with the additional mark of "Charles Wilder, Peterborough, N.H.", mahogany veneered softwood cases with molded, rectangular bases and domed tops, with silvered engraved scales for barometer and thermometer, the barometer scale with vernier slide and brass pointer
CONDITION: one case refinished and with splits at top, the other in an old, alligatored surface, the scales with minor dirt, one with broken tube, empty cistern and lacking tin cistern cover, the other with good tube, but lacking mercury
ESTIMATE: $400 - $600
