DESCRIPTION: Switzerland, a late 19th century 12 air cylinder music box, ebonized case with Brazilian rosewood veneer, tulipwood cross banding and light wood line inlay, the center of the top with inlaid marquetry musical trophy, inside of lid with birds eye figured veneer panel and large lithographed tune card, movement with 13", 12 tune cylinder with 6 bell accompaniment and glazed cover, 62 tooth comb, gilt bed plate
CONDITION: case refinished and with restoration, pores of wood not filled, top with waves, rear right foot split, loose piece is with music box, inside of lid with minor unevenness and checking, birds eye veneer panel probably replaced, glazed cover for movement missing support tabs at front, movement clean and working, bell hammers will need adjustment and repair as they only work intermittently, tune indicator needs return spring, Geneva stops missing
