DESCRIPTION:
J.C. Brown, Forestville Mfg. Co., Bristol, Conn., 8 day, spring regulated by a pendulum brass movement wall lyre timepiece.
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some age cracks in the bottom door veneer and a couple edge chips on the top door. Repainted original dial. Replaced card label. Period hands. Replaced tablet. Glue blocks that support the dial have been replaced. The top backboard looks replaced. The signed movement is the proper one for this case. This clock is from the James Waldron collection and is pictured on page sixteen in the souvenir booklet from the NAWCC 2004 Southern Ohio Regional meeting
