Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., 'Chime Clock No. 501', 8 day, time and strike with westminster chimes brass movement bracket clock, c1917; (2) Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike weight-driven brass movement column & cornice shelf clock, c1845
CONDITION:
(1) Mahogany veneered case in nice condition in original finish has some loss on the base and small damage on the cornice. Original painted dial has some staining on the edges and a small piece is missing at the center opening. Original hands. Center tablet has some loss. Bottom tablet is fine. Clean label inside. Movement is signed. (2) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case has some small damage at the upper right side molding. Original painted dial has some surface tarnish. Original hands. Good tablets. Movement is signed.
