DESCRIPTION:
J.C. Brown, Forestville Mfg. Co., Bristol, Conn., Ripple Front Beehive shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike brass movement in a rosewood veneered case.
CONDITION:
The case, with original finish, is in excellent condition. There is one very minor chip in the base ripple molding on the rear right side of the case. The signed, original dial is in excellent condition with minor paint loss at the center arbor. The hands are original. The upper door glass is original. The lower door tablet with frosted design on the glass is in good condition, but showing some wear. The door still has its original bone knob. The interior label is very good.
