DESCRIPTION: A large European carved and gilded quarter striking mantel clock, the molded base with bowed front supporting an alcove with flanking urns, the pavilion with semi circular collonade and open, half dome top, containing the clock case, draped with foliate carving, and surmounted by floral and foliate triangular arrangement, surrounding an oval mirror, arabic numeral white enamel dial with fancy pierced and chased brass hands, with blued steel date indicator, 60 hour, two train movement with silk thread suspension, striking Viennese quarters on two bells
CONDITION: case regilded, and with gold paint touch ups, minor losses to applied ornament above collonade, case back missing, dial restored, minute hand repaired, movement dirty, ticks and strikes, pendulum replaced
