DESCRIPTION: Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike spring-driven, pendulum, brass movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c.1850. (2) Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike spring-driven, pendulum, brass movement miniature round band shelf clock. c.1860
CONDITION: (1) Mahogany veneered case in nice condition in an old finish has some small veneer chips on the base. Original painted dial is soiled with scattered loss. Replaced minute hand. The rack striking movement has original brass springs. Original tablet. Clean label inside. (2) Mahogany veneered case in original finish has a small chip at the top right corner and at the bottom left side. Original painted dial is soiled with scattered loss. Original hands and tablet with some small loss. Dark, but readable label inside
