DESCRIPTION:
Asa Munger & Co., Auburn, New York, 8 day, time and strike weight-driven, pendulum, brass movement carved column & splat shelf clock. Movement is stamped: "361".
CONDITION:
Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some veneer loss on the base, repairs on the cross strip just below the top door and a small repair on the door. One of the glass side panels at the top door needs restoration. Original top door tablet. Original Benjamin Franklin tablet has some minor loss to the background. Bottom tablet has a crack in the upper right corner. Original wall paper and a nice label inside. Two original pewter pulleys. Original hands and eagle pendulum. Unusual door knobs that look to be original.
