DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 89 Hanging Master Clock", the cherry case with simple molded top and base, full length glazed door with arched aperture, roman numeral white painted dial with blued steel hands, nickel plate movement with Graham dead beat escapement and electric remontoire, the seconds arbor with attachment which closes a circuit every thirty seconds, mercury pendulum with two steel jars, and with solenoid, circuit break switch, and provision to send signals manually
CONDITION: case refinished, with minor bumps and dings, case bottom with scratches and abrasion, small filler piece missing at lower left side, dial repainted, hands good, movement dirty, ticks, escape wheel drops onto entry pallet impulse plane, pendulum rod with rust, brass components with tarnish, beat scale with tarnish, condition of circuitry unknown
