Woller, Birmingham, a second quarter 19th century mahogany bracket clock with alarm, simple mahogany and mahogany veneer case with cavetto molded top and base, on cast, decorative ball feet, and with campaign style handle set into the top, sides with arched, glazed windows, the door with canted, brass inlaid corners, and brass lined, gothic style aperture with conforming, signed, roman numeral white painted dial, blued steel spade hands and small brass alarm pointer, three train fusee movement counting the hours on a bell and with pull wind alarm
CONDITION: case with splits and minor losses to veneer, exterior brass components with tarnish, front door with slight warp, finish with some spotting, dial with crazing, dial screws replaced, hands replaced, movement running and striking, striking off by one hour, needs adjustment, alarm functional, pendulum locking screw replaced, seatboard replaced
