DESCRIPTION:
J.C. Brown, Forestville Mfg. Co., Bristol, Conn., miniature gothic shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time, strike and alarm brass movement in a rosewood veneered case with ripple front.
CONDITION:
The refinished case is in excellent condition. The original painted dial, signed "J.C. Brown, Bristol, Ct", is in very good condition with very minor loss at the winding arbors. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The upper door glass is original. The original lower glass tablet is very nice with some fading. There is a nice, protected interior label. An excellent example of this scare miniature clock.
