DESCRIPTION: Clocks- 3 (Three): (1) Ansonia Clock Co., New York, '8 Inch Lever' wall clock with a spring driven 30 hour brass timepiece movement in an oak case, c1904. (2) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., 'Alpha' hanging clock with a spring driven 8 day brass timepiece movement in an oak case, c1930. The Commercial dial reads 'Max R. Ullmann, Jeweler, 93 North St., Middletown, NY'. (3) William L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., 'America' hanging clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike brass movement in a walnut case, c1881
CONDITION: (1) The case is in excellent condition with some remaining finish. The original paper dial is in good condition. The hands are original. The door glass is original. (2) The case is in excellent condition with original finish. The original paper dial has darkened somewhat with age. The hands are original. There are good Waterbury labels on the case back. (3) The case is in very good condition with some original finish. The paper dial has a few small areas of discoloration. The hands are original. The movement is signed "Geo. B. Owen, Winsted, Conn". The two finials may be replaced. NOTE: The dimensions are for clock number 3.
