CONDITION: Clocks range from fair to very good. Two of the clocks have 1/2" knurled bezel knob, indicating that they are from WW II or before. The remainder have the larger knob found on post-war models. Four clocks tick, but were not test long term. Sold "as is ".

DESCRIPTION: France, Morbier or Comtoise clock, 8 day, time and strike with simple calendar, weight driven movement with anchor escapement in an iron post and plate frame, convex white enamel dial with Roman numerals signed "Dufour à Erneé", press brass fronton and matching pendulum with scroll design, two pierced brass hands an one iron hand.
CONDITION: White enamel dial has two very fine hairline cracks that are barely visible. The back of the pressed brass fronton has been filled with a black body filler to support and stabilize it. The movement will need cleaning. Some tarnish on pressed brass pendulum. No weights are included with this lot.
