Universal Geneve, Switzerland, "Nina Rindt" wrist chronograph, ref. 885.103/02, Universal 85 (Valjoux 72), manual winding, nickel plate movement with lever escapement in a stainless steel case with tachymetre bezel and painted baton marker, 3 register "Panda" dial, with constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers, and applied, polished "U" below 12:00, polished steel, luminous hour and minute hands, blued steel, luminous chronograph hand, serial #2453077, 35mm (case), 36mm (bezel), c1967, and J.B. Champion stainless steel bracelet with Universal logo.
CONDITION:
CASE: Scratches and dings; Case back with scratches and significant case wrench damage; 7:00 lug with shallow depression on outer surface; Bezel with minor marks and scratches and a few minor losses to black; Plastic crystal with fine scratches; Bracelet replaced, end pieces do not conform to case radius. DIAL: A few fine, short scratches and scuffs, otherwise very good. HANDS: A few fine marks and scratches, otherwise very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Scattered, very fine scratches, otherwise very good. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly.
