Lonergan, Philadelphia, PA, engine room clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven jeweled balance wheel movment in a heavy brass case with hinged bezel, 6.5 inch silvered dial engraved with "Lonergan / Phila.", subsidiary seconds, and blued steel hands, movement serial number 83412.

J.E. Londergan was a prominent manufacturer of brass items for steam and gas engines including pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, hydrolic gauges, revolution counters, and clocks. The heavy brass case has seen some serious use, with black build up around the bezel. The silvered dial has dark tarnish in many place but is still quite legible. The clock will need a new piece of glass cut and fit to the bezel. The hands have lost some of their black finish. The seconds bit is absent. The movement ticks.
