DESCRIPTION: Lenzkirch, Germany, Federzug Regulateure, or Spring Driven Wall Clock, large size with 7 1/2 inch dial and 9 inch bezel, serial #907742, c1893, with restorations.
CONDITION: a great looking clock that unfortunately lost its original top. A good workman took parts from two other old tops and created a top that looks OK at a distance, but its reddish tone is a bit obvious when you get up close; holes and shadows on rear of top explain its origin. Now beyond the negative, this clock is otherwise in outstanding original condition, with a great movement, recently cleaned by Beachams, and in running and striking order.
