Brass bezel has been replaced and is too small (reason dial was cut down). Dial signed by retailer - "W. Padgett / Newark". The bottom door has lost its veneer and is now stained dark. Ht 31"

The original painted dial is in very good condition with very minor flaking at the edges. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The dial door glass is new. The lower paint and gilt door glass is original and in excellent condition. There is no label in the case. Ht 25 3/4".

Flute bellows are re-covered, sound OK, a little "out of tune". 2 old weights, brass covered, do not match. Exterior paint on the case was distressed, and now shellacked over; former highlights are hidden. Ht of clock case = 14" add 4" for pendulum.

The hands are original, the bell a replacement. The upper door glass is original as is the lower tablet, though it has significant restoration to the painted scene. The impressive flame finials are too large and not appropriate for this clock, but would embellish a nice tall clock. The label has been largely eaten by silverfish, but they do not like ink, so the maker's name is clearly legible. Ht 30"

CONDITION: The oak case is in excellent condition with its original finish. The rear left foot has some damage and has been reattached to the case differently from the right hand rear foot. The silvered and brass dial shows a little wear at the chapter ring. The hands are original. According to the New Haven catalog, the clock is fitted with a standard, 8 days, time and strike movement for a cabinet clock. Then the Westminster chime movement is added. This movement is covered under an 1896 Canadian patent issued to Wilcock and second 1896 patent issued for the Gunther Resonator. A very interesting clock. Ht 18 1/2".

CONDITION: Cast metal case top and bottom have been over painted and much original gilding on the brass parts of the is gone. Original porcelain dial is perfect. Original hands and pendulum. The left and back door beveled glass panels have corner chips. The other two panels are fine. Ht 15 1/2"

CONDITION: Rosewood and mahogany veneered case in an old finish with small loss on the base, a chip on the left side front molding. Original painted dial with minor loss at the mounting pins and at the winding arbors. Original hands and tablet. Left finial tip is damaged. Nice label inside the case. Movement is marked Terry & Andrews and has original T. & A. decorated pendulum bob. Ht 20"
