DESCRIPTION:
Warren Clock Co., Ashland, Mass., mantel clock or "Mystery Timepiece", battery-impulsed pendulum movement on a brass base and stand, arabic numeral white enamel dial, black steel spade hands, all under glass dome.
CONDITION:
overall excellent original condition. The brass base has tarnished moderately. Very good signed enamel dial. Original hands and dome. The suspension is intact. This clock was often referred to as a " mystery timepiece" because the magnetic impulse concept was so novel at the time. For additional information, see "150 Years of Electric horology", pp. 77-79.
