The American Clock Co., Chicago, Illinois, an electromechanical crystal regulator, the polished brass case with four beveled glasses, arabic numeral white enamel dial with floral festoons and black steel hands, brass movement with round plates, three wheel train and jeweled, dead beat escapement, the movement powered by two weights attached to the center arbor, and periodically rewound by an electromagnet, mercury pendulum with rating assembly at top, serial #M8076
CONDITION:
case polished and lacquered, brush marks evident, top with minor distortion and depression at center, left side glass with minor chips, upper and lower left, rear glass with tiny chip at lower right, dial and hands good, movement dirty, weights sticking and so are not free to rewind with the available power, one weight loose from it's arm, escapement functional, needs service, pendulum with minor spotting and tarnish
