DESCRIPTION:
National Magnetic Clock Co. (Tiffany), Buffalo, NY, "Model 2001" electro-mechanical shelf clock, battery-powered, time only movement in a gothic form oak case with a pair of trefoil squint window apertures to view the pendulum, hammered brass dial with applied metal numerals, and two-ball torsion pendulum, serial number 5001.
CONDITION:
case has been rubbed down. Movement appears to be complete, though there may need to be additional wiring to connect batteries. Good dial and hands. Correct pendulum. Rear metal instruction plate. Tiffany Electric Manufacturing Co. created this movement and licensed its use to several other companies including the National Magnetic Clock Co.
