DESCRIPTION: Gustav Becker, Germany, skeleton form 400 day clock, year running, spring driven brass movement with torsion pendulum and deadbeat escapement, pierced brass plates, silvered arabic numeral dial and blued steel spade hands, brass disc pendulum, all mounted to an oval wooden base
CONDITION: the brass movement plates have light tarnish. The silvered dial is good with tiny losses in a couple of places. The steel hands are slightly mismatched. The wood base has worn finish where the dome once sat and on some of the corners. The dome is absent. The disc pendulum is a little dirty, but good otherwise. The movement is signed and has the Medaille d'or award stamp. It is also stamped with the serial number 2131708. The suspension spring is intact and slightly kinked at the bottom.
