DESCRIPTION:
J. Kaiser GmbH, Villingen, Germany, "Universe" 400-day clock, year running, spring driven brass movement with metallic rotating globe torsion pendulum and moon phase dial, monochrome zodiac dial, white chapter with polished brass numerals, brass hands, all under a glass dome.
CONDITION:
the clock is in very good condition with some light discoloration of the protective lacquer. Good original glass dome. For details on this clock see Charles Terwilliger's "400 Day Clock Repair Guide" in which he states that this " clock may go down in history as the best 400-day clock ever made." Also take note of his instructions on the assembly of the motion works and pendulum.
