DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Record" mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven brass movement with visible escapement in a green porcelain case with floral designs, two piece roman numeral enamel dial, black steel hands.
CONDITION:
case is in good condition with some visible crazing to the clear glaze over the lighter section. Enamel dial is very good with a few hairlines near 10:00. Minor oxidation to steel hands. Appropriate Ansonia pendulum. Steel pallets in the Brocot escapement. Movement is signed and needs cleaning.
