DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) marine: (1) Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., ships clock, 8 day, time and ship's strike, spring driven movement with lever escapement in a brass case with hinged bezel, 4 inch silvered dial with arabic numerals, c1975; (2) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Wardroom" marine clock, 30 hour, time and strike spring driven movement with balance wheel escapement in a turned wood case with hinged bezel, roman numeral white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, c1904.
CONDITION:
(1) Balance staff and spring are good, but the movement is dirty. It will need to be cleaned. Overall very good cosmetic condition. Movement serial number 787647. (2) Wood case with a few small nicks. Enamel dial is very good, with very tiny flakes around the winding arbor holes. Original hands. Dimensions are for the Wardroom (2) Sold "as is".
