DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Marcy" wall clock, 8 day, time and quarter strike, spring driven brass movement in an oak case, painted metal dial with roman numerals, and black steel hands.
CONDITION:
the oak case has been professionally refinished and looks very good. There are some splits beginning to form in the door above the glass, but they are minimal. The original metal dial has been cleaned, the white touched up in three places, and the black portions repainted. Overall, it looks quite good. The hands and pendulum are correct. Strikes bim-bam quarters on two bells and the hours on a cathedral gong.
