The case is in very good condition with several areas of veneer patching. There is some minor veneer lifting on the door edge. The whole case has been refinished and now has a glossy surface which needs to be toned down. The dials have been professionally repainted. The calendar dial has a small circular cutout (not original) to allow pendulum bob visibility. The minute hand is original. The hour hand has the right age, but has been repaired. The calendar hand is a later replacement. The calendar drum papers have age and appear to be original. The weight is a later replacement. Both door glasses are original.
