Clocks- 3 (Three): (1) Boardman & Wells, Bristol, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike weight wood movement half column & splat shelf clock, c1835 (2) Mitchell & Atkins, Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike weight driven brass movement triple decker shelf clock, c1835 (3) Birge, Mallory & Co., Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike weight driven brass movement triple decker shelf clock, c1840
CONDITION:
(1) Mahogany veneered case in original finish has some loss and repairs on the base. Gilt columns have some scattered loss. Original painted dial has some wear to the gilding. Original hands. Replaced tablet. Clean label inside. (2) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has a refinished bottom door and a small veneer piece missing. There is some wear and minor damage to the columns. Original painted dial in nice condition. Gilt elements look to have an old layer of gold paint. Replaced bottom tablet. Original mirror. Clean label inside. (3) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in nice condition in original finish. Original painted dial has some loss at the mounting pins. Original hands and bottom tablet. Center tablet is a replacement. Top glass is missing. The case had feet that are now missing. Clean label inside.
