Ingraham & Co., Bristol, Conn., shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time, strike and alarm movement in a walnut case, c1890. (3) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow,. Conn., OG shelf clock with a weight driven 30 hour time, strike and alarm movement in a mahogany veneered case, c1860. (4) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Column" shelf clock with a weight driven 30 hour time and strike movement in mahogany veneered case, c1875.
CONDITION: (1) The finish is very thin. The paper dial is new. The hands are original. The door glass, with stencilled design, is original. (2) The case has been refinished. The paper dial is new. The hands are original. The door glass is original. (3) There is some veneer loss on the lower part of the case. The movement is missing the alarm train. The original painted dial has some restoration and has a coat of aged finish. The hands are original. The paper label is excellent. The alarm weight is missing. The upper door glass is original. The lower door mirror is a replacement. (4) The case has been refinished. There are several areas of veneer loss. The paper dial is a replacement. The hands are original.
