DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Regent" three piece mantel garniture, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement in an elaborate cast metal case, cast dial with roman numeral enamel cartouches, black steel hands, the clock with two matching "Candelabra No. 1066", each capable of holding 5 candles.
CONDITION:
the case and candelabra are in good physical condition. All three pieces have all been restored with a silver metallic finish. The rear door will need to have one of its hinge pins mended. Dial and beveled glass are both good. The hands are not typical, so may be replacements. Decorative caps for the tops of the two candelabra are absent. The signed movement strikes on a cathedral gong. An impressive set.
