DESCRIPTION:
George D. Hatch, North Attleboro, Mass., 8 day, weight driven brass movement patent or banjo timepiece.
CONDITION:
Cherry case has scratches on what is left of the finish. Has damage to the throat frame by using screws to hold the frame to the case. A repaired crack in the head. Original zinc dial has scattered loss and inpainting in a large area in the center. Original hands. Bottom weight baffle is missing. Tablets appear replaced. These timepieces almost always had simple black and gilt tablets.
