DESCRIPTION:
England, 8 day, time and strike, fusee spring driven brass movement gothic style wall clock. Dial signed "Alf. d Goad, Islington".
CONDITION:
Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some scattered imperfections in the veneer from age, veneer and case shrinkage. The curved bottom has shrinkage cracks at the access door. A couple small moldings are missing at the top spires. The top finial is a replacement. Original painted dial is in reasonably good condition with some minor paint loss in spots on the edge. Original hands and pendulum. The chain drive fusee movement strikes using two hammers.
