DESCRIPTION: Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, Mo., "Fashion No. 4" shelf clock with a Seth Thomas spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement and R. T. Andrews perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case.
CONDITION: The case is in nice condition and has been refinished. The time and calendar dials are paper replacements The hands are all original. The door glass and the Fashion insignia appear original. The interior Seth Thomas case label is in good condition. The movement is signed. The calendar drum papers are original and show age. The three finials are incorrectly shaped replacements. The correct pendulum bob with key are stored in the base compartment, accessible through the small door from the back of the case.
