DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Parlor Calendar No. 10" shelf clock, 8 day, time, cathedral bell strike and perpetual calendar weight driven movement in an ornately carved walnut case with painted metal dials
CONDITION: The case is in very good condition and retains its original finish, nicely rubbed down. The top finials are correct but slightly different than those shown in "Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements" by Tran Duy Ly on page 50. The upper dial is a professional replacement by the Dial House in Georgia. The lower dial is all original with minor flaking near 1 and 2. The calendar rolls have been repapered and the weights are replacements.
