DESCRIPTION:
Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, Mo., "Fashion No. 6" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day Seth Thomas time and strike movement and an 1879 R. T Andrews patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case with black paper dials.
CONDITION:
The original finish has darkened significantly. The original painted dials have warped a bit. The hands are original. One of the smaller top finials has a replaced tip. There is some veneer loss adjacent to the time dial pan. The movement is signed. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damascened.
