DESCRIPTION:
Lenzkirch Clock Co., Germany, "Nr. 564" wall clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with deadbeat escapement in an oak Altdeutsch case with cast brass pendulum, white enamel dial, and pierced steel hands.
CONDITION:
Case has an excellent original finish. Enameled dial is in very good condition. Some black paint is flaking off of hands. This clock is shown on page 38 of the book "Lenzkirch Clocks: The Unsigned Story" by George Everett taken from an 1883 Lenzkirch trade catalog. Movement is stamped with serial number 455236.
