CONDITION: the clock appears in excellent original condition and the case has an old finish with no apparent breaks. The barometer hand is frozen. This impressively carved clock has a great Black Forest look and a high quality French movement.

CONDITION: Mahogany and mahogany veneer banded case in nice condition. Original painted dial has very minor loss at the mounting pins and tiny chip between 7 and 8 o'clock. Tablets were painted by Linda Abrams in 1985. Written in pencil on the case behind the dial: This case made by "Fraser Forgie 1986". Forgie was a good craftsman who made a number of fine reproductions. This clock's movement was made by Kilbourn and Proctor.

DESCRIPTION: Fraser Forgie, Fryeburg, ME, reproduction 8 day, weight brass movement Massachusetts shelf clock.
CONDITION: A very nicely made mahogany veneered case with some fine age cracks in the crotch mahogany veneered panel. The top dial stud that mounts to the movement has become detached and will need attention. The concave painted dial has a small scratch near 10 o'clock. The right scroll on the crest will also need attention as it looks to have broken in a couple places in the past. The left scroll has also been broken and repaired. The reverse glass is very nice with the maker's name and place. The brass movement may have been made by Mr. Forgie. Mr. Forgie was a well-known collector and author. He co-wrote, with Ed Burt, an NAWCC supplement on Concord Clockmakers in 1967. The clock lacks a weight.

DESCRIPTION: Hanging reproduction "coffin" clock with tiger maple columns and period 8 day weight-driven banjo clock movement, attributed to Frazer Forgie, Fryeburg, Maine.
CONDITION: This curious clock's case is made of old and new wood made to look old. It is cute, but definitely not old except for the movement and iron dial plate which has been repainted. Forgie was an old NAWCC member and a clever craftsman. Key, pendulum present and nicely made brass weight present, but no hands found.

The door glasses are very old, but are cracked. The brass movement is a T-bridge. Original painted dial is worn and has some loss at the mounting pins. Period hands.

DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 1" wall hanging 8 day weight driven timepiece movement with maintaining power in a rosewood veneered case.
CONDITION: The clock base has some veneer issues. Only a light finish remains. The original painted dial is in very good condition, although somewhat darkened with age. The movement is the round S. B. Terry style. The original pendulum rod has been broken and needs to be repaired. The hands are period but the minute hand may not be original to the clock. The top door glass is original as is the bottom gilt glass which is in very good condition with minor flaking to the blackened area.

The hands are original. The standard 4 1/4" by 2 5/8" rectangular movement with maintaining power is signed.

CONDITION: Refinished mahogany case in nice condition. The timepiece was originally exported to England as evidenced by the name on the original painted dial that has darkened slightly, some wear and a couple inpainted spots. Original hands and pendulum. Door molding retains much of its original gilding. Movement is signed. The brass bezel glass has been replaced and is held in place with poorly applied black putty.

CONDITION: the brass retains a nice old patina with some gloss but some spotting. The rear wood may have been refinished, and there is no paper label. The silvered dial shows some scratches and tarnish, and a bit of brass showing through. The movement ticks and strikes but was not tested long term.
