CONDITION: we found this early and unusual wooden tool, with attached steel file and rack-and-pinion operation, described in a pencil sharpener history website. This appears to in very good original condition, with a worn paper label on the bottom. One small wood ring surrounding the pencil hole is partially absent, and one metal spring clip to hold the pencil is broken off. Length 10"
