New York Watch Co., Springfield, Mass., a hunting cased "Aaron Bagg" pocket watch, 18 size, 7 jewels, key wind and set gilt plate movement with lever escapement, and cut bimetallic balance with gold screws in an 8 oz., plain polished coin silver hunting case, roman numeral, single sunk white enamel dial with blued steel spade hands, serial #38411
CONDITION:
CASE: Dings; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Cuvette with minor case knife marks and scratches; Front cover with very minor gap at band when closed due to wear at catch; Crystal with edge chips; Bow and crown replaced; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Faint hairlines, 6:00; Tiny chips at center of seconds bit; Glued chip and filled loss at 11:00; Edge flakes and small chips, most concealed by bezel. HANDS: Minor oxide; Seconds replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; Scuff on barrel bridge; Spotting and minor staining; Regulator and click with specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
