Oak case in nice condition in original finish. Original painted dial with some inpainting, wear and dings to the raised edge of the dial pan and damage at the door bezel hinge. Brass bezel is a little bent at the hinge and there are poor solder repairs to the tabs that hold the glass. Hands, although painted look to be original. The catalog describes this model as having an 8 day double wind weight movement, but the dial pan holes match those on the case and the dial was made to fit this movement. Maybe someone wanted a time & strike movement put in this case or this was the end of the run on this model and there were no weight movements and substitute was made. Ht 38".

Underneath the dust are two nice cases, glasses and dials in good condition. The bracket clock has a Hermle 1050-020 floating balance triple chime movement from 1984. The Ansonia's round movement is Seth Thomas A206-012 pendulum 3-hammer time and strike. Both will need service, and 15 1/2" high.

CONDITION:
These are mostly original early clocks which can be restored to their former glory. The cottage clock has the unusual "Patented May 9, 1863" print around its painted metal dial, has its old glass, ST hands and label, and only very small veneer losses, ht 14 1/2". The column clock has a newly painted dial, but nearly all else is old and nice, especially the mirror tablet and the gilt and painted columns, with small but numerous veneer gaps, ht 25". Both movements probably need cleaning.

CONDITION:
Refinished rosewood veneered case with a small chip on the cornice corner and just below the left column. Gilt columns have loss and would need restoration. Original dial has been repainted. Hands look to be modern replacements. Original mirror in the door. Ht 16" The steeple also is refinished, but is missing its finial spires and a bit of veneer, and not enough label remains to determine the maker. It has an amateur paper dial, but the newer tablet is well painted. The movement should be cleaned. Ht 20"
